Yesterday, the fob I normally use began failing. I retrieved the spare, but its battery was dead! So, I installed fresh batteries in both since keys are essential to my happy van-life.
Today, I’m in Vegas, not south yet. Dog sitting at Jen’s. It wasn’t planned, but no problem; love the boys and have a house key. The weather is holding, but the smog is outrageous.
It’s all good since 3 kingdom-kids need my help with their liberty. Well, not me, but what I bring to the conversation – The Gospel, The Milk, The Keys, and The Song – Four Dialogues.
I have noticed that genuine liberty varies among Father’s children – those born into His Kingdom by faith in the cleansing blood of His Son. Liberty is freedom in Christ, shown by you rightly representing heaven on earth. That behavior is not always seen in those claiming Christ as savior. Self-included. Why is that? Are we missing some kingdom keys?
Victoria is kingdom-kid #1. She is a bold and beautiful young black woman who has a calling on her life – Save A Generation. We talked over coffee today and she related her struggles with obedience, discipline, and consistency in Christ. We reviewed The Keys Of The Kingdom Of Heaven as spelled out in 2 Peter 1. She left with fresh clarity, and hope.
Jonathan is kingdom-kid #2. At our last evening meetup, I explained how he was already “adding virtue to his faith” – the first turn of The Keys. I related how our Father was well-pleased with that, with him. He melted in a good way. He needed to hear encouragement!
And Mac, kingdom-kid #3, phoned the next day relating how he just went through a fuzzy season of mental stress such that he lost track where he was in the process presented by The Keys. He managed to work through it using his map of the phases, he recalled the pattern. Mac emerged with a fresh assignment to help others feel how Father is watching them in love. I took this as confirmation that what I told Jonathan held true.
Maybe you are kingdom-kid #4? Father is watching you in love. You can represent His kingdom with true virtue, the kind fruited out of an honest relationship with Him. May you turn The Keys and find liberty in Christ – freedom, as you rightly represent heaven on earth. I can help, like a tutor.

Character Development: Are The Keys even relevant? Yes, but only to faithful citizens of Christ’s Kingdom – those to whom Peter with his last breath intentionally reminded. Every other method is snake oil – fake and ghey.
