Hi there! I see I missed the mid-month blog – sorry. But February is the short month. Right? It was a blur. Honestly, I think I can blame it on too much screen time watching loads of ugly stuff unfold like never before. Yuck! I’ll get back to that.
Van life rumbles on. I roamed around remote shore sites on the Lake Mead Arizona Arm. Views and fresh air were awesome but also cold, wet and windy, which I thought was good insurance against snakes, rattlers, Mojave Greens, known to inhabit the area and known to be inhospitable. After camping, I visited Mae (departed dad’s wife) in Kingman – still sorting through the last of his stuff. A lifetime of hobbies. I found a few more items to send to those having storge space for memories.
The van has run well since the repairs – noted last month. The Rack and Pinion steering feels like new. But I did have another hiccup, this one electronic (the sum of all fears). The dashboard went crazy, every light and warning message imaginable flashed at me. It spoke! Said something about power steering and a whistling noise came from somewhere, where of course I could not locate. I put it back in park and shut it down.
It was a scary feeling since I’ve got my whole life wrapped up in this rig. It is my bed, office, transportation, kitchen, couch, and camper rolled into one. If it fails me, oh the hassle – don’t get me started, like losing a cell phone, license, credit card, passport in Mexico – panic sets in quickly followed by the dull heavy ugh of wasted time.
So, I threw the demon out of the dash and the screen returned to normal – engine light lingering. Hahaha, really, that’s how I roll. I will drop by the RAM shop and ask them to maybe reinstall the software and reset the date/clock. But I hope you felt my dread!
Because, speaking of crazy – how about all that is in the news these days, sad, sadistic, satanic and maybe war. Your screen (the alt-news) also went nuts – batshit crazy! We were all treated to the very worst of failures in the so-called leading edge of the western church – pack of wolves. The Epstein files were dropped and though redacted spelled out a scene of satanic depravity as well as layers of complicity. Do devils run the world? Then the President ordered Iran’s evil regime laid waste. And we look forward to more UFO disclosures.
Wow! You may have felt like I did with my dashboard scene … but way worse since this is the world scene, and you live in it!
Here’s the thing, I was more bothered by my van than by the world. Why?

Understand that I am screaming for justice, and action, etc. But I’m a citizen of heaven first, a pilgrim passing through, an ambassador for His Kingdom until Christ calls me home.
